MEDICAL EDUCATION
"I profess both to learn and to teach Anatomy, not from books but from dissections; not from positions of philosophers but from the fabric of nature." --William Harvey
THE HUMAN BODY: ANATOMY, EMBRYOLOGY, IMAGING
IoDino Lab members participate in team teaching of Gross Anatomy for medical students at Washington University. We employ both cadaver-based dissection and explanations of clinical correlations to re-enforce both broad and fine-scale anatomical understanding.
MEDICAL NEUROSCIENCE
IoDino Lab members also participate in team teaching of Medical Neuroscience for first-year medical students at Washington University. Our contribution to the course relates largely to neuroanatomy, including gross dissection of the brain, cranial nerves, and endocranial vasculature.
